This wine is characterised by an intense ruby colour.
The wine is rich with the scents of fresh sweet and sour cherries, strawberries and spices such as vanilla and star anise.
Above all, it has an earthy fragrance that enhances the sensuality of this wine, which is also char acterised by a pleasant tannic note.

VINE VARIETY 100% SANGIOVESE
AREA OF PRODUCTION: Montefalco, Bevagna
SOIL COMPOSITION Sandy soil, with low content of clay, gravel and limestone
ALTITUDE: 300 mt a..s.l
ORIENTATION: South-South-East
LAYOUT: 3,000 vines per hectare
PRUNIG Spur-pruned cordon
YIELD PER HECTARE: 100 q/ha
HARVEST: Mid-September
VINIFICATION: Traditional, in steel container, contact with the skins for a duration
of 10 days at a constant temperature of 24/25°C
AGING: In oak barrels for 12 months in bottles for 6 months
AGING THRESHOLD: 10 – 15 years
COLOR: Intense ruby color with gamet nuances
OLFACTORY NOTE: Fresh red fruits, such as strwberries and rasberry,
wild strawberry and ‘morello’ cherries,
with a captivating balsamic finish of sweet spices:
vanilla, sweet pipe tobacco lesf, and coffee
FLAVOR: Good structure and alcoholic power, fresh and fruity; smooth tannic taste
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 13 %
DRINKING TEMPERATURE: 18-20 °C
