Authentic expression of the territory, our Elli Umbria IGT red is obtained from a pure native grape variety.
It is vinified in steel with a maceration on the skins of about 20 days at controlled temperature. The subsequent passage in oak barrels for 12 months enriches its profile, giving depth and roundness to the taste. After a further refinement in bottle for another 4 months, it presents itself with an intense ruby color and a balanced structure, ideal to accompany the strong flavors of traditional cuisine.
Aroma: on the nose, it presents hints of moderately ripe fruit: black cherry and cherry, plum and wild strawberry, wild berries.
Flavour: in the mouth, it is enveloping and elegant, its slightly sweet taste giving way to a soft and pleasant tannicity.
Perfect with mature cheeses, well-structured meat dishes and roasts. This wine also pairs well with dry pastries.
Serving temperature: 18-20°C.
