After a long aging in oak barrels for 36 months and bottle maturation of 4 months, it develops a complex and enveloping profile. The great structure and balance between tannins and freshness make it ideal for aging over time, offering depth and persistence.
Aroma: the nose opens with the characteristic scents of the grape variety, wild strawberries and raspberries, strawberries and morello cherries, with a finish of sweet spices: vanilla, sweet pipe tobacco leaf and coffee.
Flavour: dry on the palate, with the typical tannicity of Sagrantino balanced by a pleasant freshness and well-integrated alcohol content, giving the wine a balanced structure.
Pair with mature cheeses and pasta dishes with meat sauces.
